When you cut down or better yet remove empty calories, processed carbs, toxic sugars and inflammatory grains from your daily diet, you create loads of extra room for the good stuff. No need to overcomplicate things either. Here’s how to make it super simple: GREENS.
Now, if you find yourself getting bored of eating yet another salad or serving of steamed veggies, here’s how you solve that: HERBS.

Herbs should not be relegated to mere garnish status. They are so much more than that. Incorporating these beautiful botanicals into your diet each day is an almost endless way to create new flavor, aroma, depth and pleasure.

I also like to think of herbs as the original apothecary, a veritable pharmacopoeia of Mother Nature’s healing powers. Since the dawn of time we have consumed herbs for their potent medicinal properties. Their therapeutic application is all the more relevant today to help keep our bodies cleansed and protected from the harmful pollutants and chemical compounds in our air, water, food and surroundings.
There are many ways to get ‘em. Fresh, dried or frozen, common or garden, grown in pots at home or procured from exotic markets trading regional rare varietals. From the culinary to the medicinal, cosmetic, spiritual and beyond. Get out there and go herb hunting, follow your nose, get curious, dare all the herbaceousness your palate can relish. I promise if you eat more herbs your diet shall bore you no more.
